Due to COVID-19 (Coronavirus) restrictions imposed by the Australian and Queensland Governments Beenleigh Neighbourhood Centre will close to all members of the public at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, 26 March 2020 and will reopen at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 2 June 2020. From 2 June 2020 the following services will be available at the centre:
– Justice of the Peace / Commissioner for Declarations
– Computer room
– Counselling and psychology (by appointment only)
All other activities will not resume until further notice.
Visitors and service users will be required to sign-in and sanitise their hands on entry (hand sanitiser will be supplied). Social distancing will be enforced, with all persons required to remain at least 1.5 metres apart at all times whilst on the premises.

If you require the services of a Justice of the Peace (JP) or Commissioner for Declarations (Cdec) during this time please visit https://www.qld.gov.au/law/legal-mediation-and-justice-of-the-peace/about-justice-of-the-peace/after-hours. This page will allow you to enter your town/suburb or postcode to access a list of JPs and Cdecs who may be available to assist you in their private residence or a public space.
Please remember that JPs and Cdecs are volunteers providing a valuable service to their community. As such they are not required to provide their services if they deem it a risk to their health and safety.
