Beenleigh District Not-for-Profit Virtual Conference
Beenleigh Neighbourhood Centre hosted the Beenleigh District Not-for-Profit Virtual Conference from 26 August to 27 August. The conference was facilitated by Anthony Ketland (Beenleigh District Community Development Association) and Stephanie Maciulaitis (Alcohol and Drug Foundation).
The overarching purpose of the conference was to provide a platform for not-for-profit organisations to share information about their services and insights into their respective areas of expertise. Chris Mundy from Queensland Families and Communities Association provided an inspiring keynote address titled ‘Working with Community: Going back to our Roots’.
The event was a great success, with 18 organisations providing presentations and many attendees participating in the conference throughout the two-day period.
