Stories from the Kitchen – End of Year Dinner
Stories from the Kitchen is a series of community dinners celebrating the cultural diversity of Beenleigh and greater Logan City. We encourage attendees to bring a dish and stories from their culture to share with the group. Join us for an evening of delicious food, beautiful people, and incredible stories. Our end of year dinner will feature food, games, interactive activities, and prizes. Everyone is welcome!

Repair Cafe Beenleigh
Need a button sewing on?
Have a child’s broken toy?
Need a computer repaired or virus/malware removed?
Need a knife sharpened?
Need a guitar restrung?
Need a bicycle repaired?
And much more!
Our passionate volunteers are able to assist with a range of repairs!
Please note:
- Consumables used during repair may be chargeable.
- We are not currently able to repair electrical faults for any items that plug into mains power (lamps, blenders, etc.). You are welcome to bring along low-voltage electrical items such as those that use common household batteries.
- This is a walk-in service, therefore you may need to wait before your item can be assessed.
- For their safety children must be supervised at all times and remain at least two metres away from any active repairs.
Location Information
- Limited off-street parking can be accessed via Mansfield Walk (laneway beside 41 Kent Street, Beenleigh). Street parking is available on James & Kent Streets, Beenleigh.
Cost: Consumables used during repair may be chargeable.
Date: First Saturday of each month (excluding public holidays and the month of January)
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
